There are tons of drones and quadcopters out there. Some of them are simple flying machines like micro and mini quads while there are others that come with a built-in camera, and then there are others that can carry a GoPro and there are others that can carry a lot of load with extreme ease.
If you are new to the world of quadcopters and drones, perhaps you would be better starting at our Quadcopter Beginners Guide
Choosing the most appropriate quadcopter drone from so many different quads is definitely not easy. Here is a quadcopter drone review.
- Ominus FPV by Dromida
If you are interested in an affordable drone with camera, Ominus FPV is a decent choice. This quad come with a camera (a built-in) but it doesn’t have a remote control rather you use your smartphone to control it. Yes you need to have an android or IOS device to control it and to use its camera.
- Parrot Bebop
This is my favorite for the fact that it gives you a professional feel despite its low price. It is really a great maneuvering drone by Parrot, probably one of their best.
It has a built-in camera that will do all the recording for you while you can do all the flips and twists with the quadcopter. It can be upgraded and thus you can add features and add-ons as per your need.
- DJI Phantom 2 Vision +
How can we go without talking about the all famous DJI Phantom 2 Vision +? This is one of the best professional high-end quadcopters. Not only that it is exceptional at flying but it is so great at video recording. It has a 14 megapixel camera that can be controlled from a smartphone. If you want to add a GoPro, you can mount that as well. It has 3-axis gimbal that makes it simple to control your GoPro.
It has a lot of features that you will not going to find in any other drone out there but all these features come at a cost. It is not an inexpensive drone.
- Hubsan X4 H107D FPV
It is really one of the best drones for those who are short of cash. It is a tiny drone with a 0.3 Megapixel camera. It comes with an SD card so you can transfer videos and pictures to your computer. Due to its sheer size, easy flying and low price, it is the best choice for beginners that are looking for a drone with camera.
- Blade 350 QX V2
If you cannot afford DJI Phantom 2, your best alternate is Blade 350 QX. It has all those features including smooth and stable flight, GoPro mount, easy control and others. It is relatively inexpensive but of course you cannot compare it with DJI Phantom 2 Vision +.
But at this price, Blade 350 QX provides with exceptional recording and flying experience.
These were the best quadcopter drones that are available to choose from. If you are an experienced flyer, I’d recommend going for a professional level drone and if you are new to the game, stick to those entry-level quadcopters.
Drones are getting famous rapidly. Whether it is a military owned drone or a drone owned by a hobbyists or by a professional photographer, we see them everywhere now.
