INTRODUCING THE SYMA X12 MINI QUADCOPTER

It is a typical quadcopter but with a strong build. It is durable. The design, shape and the material together make a strong tiny quadcopter. Size of the quadcopter is 3.03 x 3.03 x 1.06 inches, yes it is small. Remote control is fairly large as compared to the size of the quad. Remote control easily fits in your hands so don’t worry about its size.

It is equipped with LED lights that look nice in night. You can, therefore, fly the Syma X12 Mini Quadcopter at night without much issues. It has LED lights on its propellers too that help you in flying since you can differentiate between the head and tail.

Flight

The Syma X12 Mini Quadcopter is a four channel quadcopter with 3D rolls and has the ability to do 360 degree flips. It also has a throw function which will throw the quad to one side freely. It is interesting.

There is a special button on the remote control that is designed for 360 degree flips. It has two flying modes; basic and expert. In the expert mode, the speed of the quadcopter increases significantly. It is basically a high speed mode so be prepared for high speed before switching to this mode.

The transmitter is 2.4 GHz and it is not an issue to fly multiple quads form the same location. Interference is not an issue at all. Though it has been designed to fly indoor but you can take it outdoor too. If you intend to switch to high speed mode, it is recommended to take an outdoor flight else you might mess inside your home at expert mode.

Yes, flight is fairly stable. Thanks to its 6 axis gyro system that keeps the quad stable in air. Control system and transmitter are simple and easy-to-use. Beginners will just love playing around with this machine.

WHATS IN THE BOX?

THE SYMA X12 IN ACTION

Pros

  • Beginner-friendly drone.
  • It is fun to fly it outdoor at high speed mode. This mode, however, is not for beginners so amateurs can fly it too.
  • It has a lot of features that make it a good quality quad.
  • Extremely cheap.

Cons

  • It gives you a low voltage warning on the remote control when the battery is about to end. You have to land it immediately. If your quad is at a fair distance, it might fall because the time between the warning and actual battery end is very minimal.
